It's already March and still there are only hints of spring in Cologne. In the last week we had three really warm days. One of them luckily when I visited my hometown Zoo. It was so warm, that there were children with T-Shirts and no shoes on. And this week we had snow again and it's utterly cold and it's supposed to stay like this for even more days. I read this is the greyest winter in 62 years for this region.

BUT hopefully there will be warmer and sunnier days again soon, as I already planned to visit some closeby Zoos and Wildparks. So here is my first list for the next two months:

- Zoo Köln (Cologne)
- Zoo Duisburg
- Zoom Gelsenkirchen
- Allwetterzoo Münster
- Zoo Krefeld
- Greifenstation Hellenthal
- Wildgehege Granat Haltern

I am really looking forward to visit the Zoos in Münster and Duisburg. The last time I've been to the Duisburg Zoo was years ago and it seems that they made some great changes. Sadly only a few days ago one of the tigers, Gisa, died. It reminded me hurtful of Altai...our Tiger we lost last year in Cologne.
Also I am happy about visiting Granat, where I hopefully have the chance to see the European Wolves howl together with their "Dad".
